This is the image I was trying to emulate. And below is what I came up with – using my own mugshot of course. Click the image for a full size look.

Disclaimer : the image above is HEAVILY Photoshopped and I think it’s obvious – still learning. I look nothing like that. The skin tones are too flat. The nose looks funny. Hardly any cheekbones. My expression is all wrong : I look like a deer caught in headlights. I didn’t even look dead center into the camera. I really do need me some re-touching and post-production lessons. This is one of those images that I am going to cringe at when I look at it a few months from now.
Something a little more “tame”. Although the expression still hasn’t changed. A lot of friends mentioned that the first one on top, somehow, gives a sci-fi feel. I think this new one gives a more “girl-next-door-feel”. Or maybe “deer-next-door-caught-in-the-headlights”.
