The Bolshoi Bazaar by JJ Valaya was a heady, colorful mix of Russia and India. Words like "royal", "majestic", come to mind. JJ also had some fabulous men walk the runway wearing his clothes. It was a fun collection to watch.
25 of India's leading fashion designers - veterans most of them and a few stellar new ones. Stunning pieces and setup and lovely that the designers walked the runway at the end as well. It is unfair that so many of us love and adore their work and don't see enough of the faces behind the collections. Styled by Gautam Kalra. Produced by Preferred Professionals.
Luxurious letterheads by Moo.com From their Luxe collection. One side printed with some of my selected black and white photographs and the other side, blank, to be written on. To be sent to a select few only!
Apologies for getting the eyes closed on this photograph but I shared it anyway because I love what the lady is wearing and how she’s carrying herself. All photographs in…
Narmata Joshipura's Autumn/Winter collection is called Night Goddess. It is inspired by Nyx, who is the goddess of the night from Greek mythology and identified with mystery, beauty and power. Satin, gowns, faux fur, culottes and super sexy silhouettes. Everything was stunning and hopefully my fitness regimen might allow me to actually get a piece or two!
Pero's Princess Pea collection was plaid and pashmina and florals. They even had a Military Band in the background on stage for live music! I think it was the Madras Regiment band it was quite an experience to hear this music at Fashion Week! I don't know if it's been done before but as the child of an Army Officer, I LOVED it!
